This will help for those who may need to this number in the future (especially us in the support role!) so we don’t have to contact customers for their full credit card number again should we need it.

It is really simple. To grab this full number, go into the client’s record, orders tab, and click on the card type under credit cards. Under “Card Information” there is now a link that says View Secure Credit Card Info. You will be required to enter your Infusionsoft applications password and then you will see the full number.

Wohooo!

One of the hidden gems that each of these new infusionsoft users were not aware of are the beyond cool “tracking links”. I have to tell you, I could spend hours with these things. They are beyond ad-trackers. What I love is that you can not only track when someone clicks on a link in your email or follow up (autoresponder), but you can also assign it ACTIONS! You can tell the system that if they click on the link, to also tag them, add them to another follow up/or remove from a follow up and more. You can also set rules – and say this action only works if they have already purchased “x” or registered for a certain teleclass.

About six months ago, something touched me – something moved me. A commercial – A Message. Now those who know me well can testify that yes, while up in the wee-hours of the night with any of my children, I have had a tendency to order infomercial products. But this is different. This makes a difference. It is not a CD collection, gadget that makes cool looking sandwiches with your leftovers or the air climber that is to help you lose weight (ok so I did get the air climber too). This was to help someone get the stuff they needed that could not be done on $25 a month budget. Yes, I typed that correctly, $25 a month.

That is how I met Mary and became her sponsor through Compassion International. I decided that while I sat here well fed – others were not and although I am one person, I could still help. Mary lives on the plains of Kiini, home to approximately 4,000 residents. Typical houses are constructed of earthen floors, brick walls and iron sheet roofs. Her diet consists of maize and beans and she is faced with malaria, a common health problem in her area.  She is supported solely by her mother who is a farmer.

Elizabeth was looking for something that would allow us to actually set the time she was available – opposed to the times she was not available. Let me tell you, not too easy to do with some of the other online schedulers out there. Remembering Sarah’s suggestion a few months back, I decided to give Time Driver a try.

Wowzer! This system was a piece of cake!!! Love it. It allowed me to quickly and easily set up a specific group of times for Elizabeth that she is available for coaching – and then assigns a url for us to use in sending out to her clients for them to schedule. And, they offer a 90-day trial and does not require a credit card. Who does that anymore? Not 30 but 90 days…nice! And, get this. If you like it, after 90 days the cost is only $29.95 for an entire year!

The only thing I found a bit confusing at first was that Time Driver tries to be “smart” and uses the timezone that is set in your computer settings. So for me, as a VA, I wanted to set these times up for Elizabeth as Eastern, but I am in the pacific time zone. Once I figured out how it worked, I simply adjusted the times I entered to be pacific – and made a note to her clients that the times shown on the calendar were specific to those set up in their own computer system.

So far so good. I will continue to use it during the 90 day trial and continue to evaluate. If you use this, I would love to hear your comments and reviews!

There are many other ways that you can use your autoresponder.  All you need to do is put a little bit of creativity and thought into it, and you’ll probably find yourself amazed with all the things you can do with autoresponders.  They are very popular with Internet marketing and online businesses these days, and for good reason.  If you’ve grown tired of having to manage every aspect of your online business – now is the time to invest in an autoresponder.  They are user friendly and very affordable – making them something that no business should ever be without.

Article marketing can help your business the minute you submit these to different article directories. If these are approved for posting, people will be able to visit your site or may want to get in touch with you as they click the link or look at the resource box.

The resource box is the key to this success and it is usually found at the bottom of the web page. Here, you can add your name, website and email and a brief paragraph about what you do and who you help.

If your article had a significant impact on the reader and they would like to post your article in their websites, they can do so which means more people will be able to see your work without you having to do anything.

Articles that are posted in directories usually ask you for keywords so this can easily be found when someone visits the site. These keywords are also given to search engines so if people type it in, your article will also appear and they will be able to view it.

She also asked me, “is article marketing better than conventional print publications?” Again, tThe answer is yes because people will easily find your article by typing in some keywords. Print publication on the other hand is difficult because you will have to browse through how many back issues of newspapers and magazines just to find it.

When it comes to domain name extensions, most people are familiar with .com.

First, evaluate the purpose of your website.  If your website is designed to simply direct people to an affiliate page, then it won’t really matter what extension it has, since they are only going to visit it once anyway.  However, if a website is designed for repeat visits, people may not care about the site not having a .com.  Sites that contain updated information, games and message boards tend to be the type of sites that get repeat visitors.

Secondly, consider the memorable nature of  your domain name.  Is the name easy or hard to remember – or type? Your goal is to make it something they can easily remember and type – you don’t want to frustrate someone who leaves after not finding your site after a short while.

Thirdly, determine whether or not a domain name with an unconventional extension will rank higher in search engines than a domain name with a traditional one.

My opinion -  I recommend finding an easy to remember and type domain with a .com after it if your goal is to bring new visitors to the site.

Leaders are responsible for making their team feel supported. A leader must engage in five kinds of behavior that have been proven to be effective in the virtual working environment.

1.) Monitors the team’s work effectively and gives feedback and reactions to the problems by understanding the root.

2.) Provides support to a team member’s decision-making and actions

3.) Helps lessen the stressful situations for those working with them and socializes with the team members.

4.) Recognizes good works of the individual.

5.) Consults subordinates about their work and is open to the ideas and opinions of each.

A team’s interaction with one another is negative when the leader is engaged in the three kinds of ineffective actions which are

1.) ineffectively monitors the work and displays an inadequate comprehension of their team’s capabilities and provides negative and non-constructive feedback and delay on the checking of the status of work.

2.) failure to clarify objectives and roles by giving assignments that aren’t the responsibilities of a team member and

3.) ineffectively dealing with problems at hand.

Therefore, leader must be on top of his game when it comes to the responsibilities of each team member. By being updated on the situation, they will have an easier time coming up with a solution when a problem arises. This makes it easier for the team and the leader as well.

By supporting each individual member, they will be able to reach out to them in ways that they would like from a leader. By sympathizing with each member, the leader gets to know him and her on both a personal and professional level that will be beneficial to the team.
